News: Regular Programs Suspended through May & Covid Relief Projects

In alignment with AS220’s organizational decision, the Industries has extended the suspension of all public hours, key access, and educational programming through the month of May. This includes all workshops, orientations, and trainings, which will be rescheduled as soon as possible.

We would like to extend our sincerest apologies for any inconvenience this presents to our creative community. Our priority is to support the health, wellness, and safety of all communities at AS220. We would also like to express our sincerest gratitude for your patience with us during this difficult time.

During this crisis, our primary goals are to 1) support our AS220 community and 2) provide meaningful ways for artists to convene and share ideas, work, and resources.

In support of these goals, Industries staff are actively collaborating with instructors to develop creative solutions for distance teaching + learning during this time. Updates will be provided as they become available, but trust us, we have some exciting new offerings coming soon!

We are also staying connected with our creative community, at AS220 Industries, by collaborating on a variety of COVD-19 response initiatives. These relief efforts include cloth mask-making, producing personal protective equipment (PPE) for local healthcare practitioners and technical workers, as well as prototyping low-cost solutions to address the ventilator shortage.

If you want to join in on any of these efforts please fill out our Contributor Sign-Up Form and we’ll work on matching you with a suitable project. You could also fill out a Project Proposal form.
